2. Use of the Website
You agree to use our website lawfully and responsibly.
You must not, in particular:
- use the website for fraudulent purposes;
- attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems;
- interfere with the operation of the website;
- transmit malicious code;
- use false information to create an account or place an order;
- use our content or data in a manner contrary to applicable laws.
We may limit or suspend access to the website where there are reasonable grounds relating to security, fraud, or a violation of these Terms.
3. Products and Information
Maple Office Supply sells, among other things, office supplies and printing consumables.
We make reasonable efforts to provide accurate information regarding:
- products;
- MPNs and SKUs;
- compatible printer models;
- page yield;
- colour;
- availability;
- prices;
- technical specifications.
However, certain information may be provided by manufacturers, distributors, or other suppliers.
Where compatibility is identified as verified, Maple Office Supply seeks to use reliable and verified data.
We nevertheless recommend that customers verify the MPN and exact model of their equipment before placing an order.
4. Availability
Products displayed on our website are offered subject to availability.
A product may become unavailable between the time it is displayed and the time an order is processed.
Where permitted by law, we reserve the right to:
- limit certain quantities;
- refuse an order that is clearly erroneous or fraudulent;
- cancel an item that has become unavailable;
- contact the customer when an order requires clarification.
If payment has been collected for an item that ultimately cannot be supplied, the applicable amount will be refunded in accordance with the law and our Refund and Return Policy.
5. Prices
Prices displayed are stated in Canadian dollars (CAD), unless otherwise indicated.
Applicable taxes and delivery charges are calculated or displayed during the ordering process.
Before entering into a distance purchase with a Quebec consumer, the merchant must, among other things, disclose the price of each item, related charges, applicable taxes or other duties, and the total amount payable.
We may change our prices at any time for future orders.
A price change does not retroactively alter an order that has already been concluded, except where expressly permitted by law or agreed with the customer.
6. Pricing or Information Errors
Despite our efforts, technical, typographical, or data errors may occasionally occur.
If we identify a material error relating to a product or price before the order is fulfilled, we may contact you in order to correct the situation.
Nothing in these Terms limits any mandatory rights granted to a consumer by law.
7. Orders
An order is subject to acceptance by Maple Office Supply and to Shopify’s processing mechanisms.
We may request additional information where necessary to:
- verify the purchaser’s identity;
- confirm an address;
- prevent fraud;
- verify a B2B order;
- clarify a product or quantity.
For distance transactions entered into with Quebec consumers, the law provides specific requirements regarding information that must be disclosed before the contract is concluded, as well as the written contents of the contract.
8. Order Confirmation
After an order is concluded, the customer will normally receive an electronic confirmation containing the information applicable to the transaction.
For distance contracts governed by Quebec’s Consumer Protection Act, the merchant must provide the consumer with a copy of the contract within the time limits prescribed by applicable legislation, in a format that can easily be retained and printed.
9. Payment
Payments are processed by Shopify and the payment providers enabled on our store.
The customer agrees to provide accurate payment information and to be authorized to use the selected payment method.
For certain business customers, Maple Office Supply may offer specific arrangements, including:
- payment terms;
- a purchase order number;
- draft orders;
- specific B2B arrangements.
These arrangements may be subject to separate approval.

Certain companies may have access to additional features, including:
- company accounts;
- company locations;
- multiple authorized purchasers;
- purchase order numbers;
- payment terms;

The fact that a feature is technically available through Shopify does not necessarily mean that it is offered to all customers.
Maple Office Supply may establish specific commercial terms for certain B2B customers, subject to applicable law.

You are responsible for the accuracy of the information associated with your account.
Maple Office Supply customer accounts may be managed using Shopify’s customer account features.
You are responsible for protecting access to your email address and the authentication mechanisms associated with your account.

12. Shipping and Delivery
Detailed shipping terms are described in our Shipping Policy.
Delivery timelines shown are generally estimates, except where a specific timeline constitutes a contractual or legal obligation.
For distance purchases involving Quebec consumers, certain information relating to the performance period, delivery method, carrier, and place of delivery must be disclosed before the contract is concluded where applicable.
13. Returns, Exchanges, and Refunds
The commercial terms applicable to returns and refunds are described in our Refund and Return Policy.
That policy does not limit any mandatory rights that may be granted by law.
Quebec rules applicable to distance contracts may, among other things, provide cancellation rights where certain disclosure or contract delivery requirements have not been respected.
14. Product Compatibility
Printing consumables must correspond to the appropriate model, product family, or MPN.
The customer must verify product information before placing an order.
Where Maple Office Supply expressly provides a verified compatibility indication, we make reasonable efforts to use accurate and up-to-date information.

To the extent permitted by law, Maple Office Supply will not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from the use of the website or the Services.
This limitation does not apply where the law prohibits the exclusion or limitation of a particular liability.
Nothing in these Terms limits any mandatory rights granted to a consumer by applicable law.

Subject to any mandatory rules applicable according to the nature and location of the transaction, these Terms are governed by the applicable laws of the province of Quebec and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein.
For consumers, this provision is not intended to deprive them of any mandatory right or remedy available under applicable law.
25. Consumer Sales and Business-to-Business Sales
