Shipping policy
Last updated: September 22, 2026
At Maple Office Supply, we aim to provide a simple, transparent delivery experience tailored to the needs of Canadian businesses.
Depending on the product, stock location, and destination, an order may be prepared and shipped from different distribution centres or logistics partners in Canada.
1. Delivery Area
Maple Office Supply currently delivers within Canada.
Certain remote or hard-to-reach areas may be subject to:
- additional delivery time;
- additional shipping charges;
- carrier restrictions;
- limited availability for certain products.
Where such restrictions apply, they may be shown during the ordering process or communicated before shipment.
2. Order Processing
Orders are processed on business days, subject to:
- product availability;
- order validation;
- payment confirmation or applicable B2B terms;
- applicable processing cut-off times;
- holidays;
- circumstances beyond our control.
We make reasonable efforts to transmit eligible orders promptly to our distribution network.
However, Maple Office Supply does not guarantee a fixed processing time for its entire catalogue.
3. Delivery Times
Delivery times shown on our website, at checkout, or in order communications are estimates, unless a specific delivery time has been expressly agreed to in writing.
Actual delivery time may vary depending on factors including:
- the destination province or territory;
- the postal code;
- product availability;
- stock location;
- the carrier;
- weather conditions;
- periods of high demand;
- holidays;
- transportation network disruptions.
Maple Office Supply does not guarantee next-day delivery or delivery within a specific number of days for all orders, except where such an option is explicitly confirmed for a particular order.
4. Product Availability
When a product is shown as available, this means that the inventory information available to us indicates that it can normally be ordered.
An exceptional discrepancy may nevertheless occur between the information displayed and the stock actually available at the time the order is processed.
If an availability issue affects your order, we will contact you where necessary.
5. Shipping Charges
Applicable delivery charges are displayed or calculated during the ordering process based on:
- the destination;
- the products ordered;
- the size and weight of the parcel;
- the available transportation service;
- the commercial terms applicable to your account.
No additional charge will be added after the order is concluded, except where permitted by law or agreed with the customer.
6. Direct Shipping
Certain products may be shipped directly to the customer from a distribution centre or logistics partner.
In such cases, Maple Office Supply remains your primary point of contact for any questions regarding your order.
The fact that a third party physically ships the order does not change your commercial relationship with Maple Office Supply.
7. Orders Containing Multiple Products
Where an order contains multiple products, those products may be shipped separately.
You may therefore receive:
- multiple parcels;
- multiple tracking numbers;
- different portions of the order on different dates.
If you receive only part of your order, this does not necessarily mean that the remaining items are missing.
If you are unsure, please contact us with your order number.
8. Confirmation and Tracking
Where a tracking number is available, it may be provided to you by email or made available in your order information.
Please note that a tracking number may require some time before the carrier displays its first updates.
9. Delivery Address
The customer is responsible for verifying the accuracy of the delivery address before confirming an order.
Please verify, in particular:
- the company name;
- the recipient’s name;
- the address;
- the unit, office, or suite number;
- the city;
- the province;
- the postal code;
- any relevant delivery instructions.
If you notice an error after placing your order, please contact us as soon as possible.
We will attempt to correct the address if the order has not yet reached a stage where the change is no longer possible.
Additional charges may apply where a carrier must make an address correction or another delivery attempt because incorrect information was provided with the order, where permitted by law.
10. Delivery to a Business
For deliveries to an office, store, warehouse, or other business location, the customer must ensure that:
- the address is accessible;
- an authorized person can receive the parcel where necessary;
- any specific receiving restrictions have been communicated where relevant.
A delivery recorded as received at the specified business address may be considered delivered in accordance with the carrier’s information, subject to applicable rights.
11. Delivery Delays
Delays may occur for reasons beyond our control, including:
- weather conditions;
- transportation network congestion;
- a service outage;
- a strike or labour dispute;
- holidays;
- an exceptional event;
- a carrier-related issue;
- a regional restriction.
If your order experiences a significant delay, please contact us so that we can verify its status.
Where Quebec rules applicable to distance contracts apply, certain specific rights may exist where goods are not delivered within the agreed time.
12. Lost or Undelivered Parcel
If tracking indicates a problem or if your order does not arrive within a reasonable period, please contact us at:
Please provide:
- your order number;
- the customer or company name;
- the delivery address;
- any relevant tracking information.
We will review the situation with the carrier or our distribution network.
13. Damaged Parcel
If a parcel arrives visibly damaged:
- take photos of the packaging;
- take photos of the product and its label;
- keep the original packaging;
- contact Maple Office Supply as soon as possible.
Send the information to:
Please include your order number and a description of the issue.
We will advise you of the appropriate next steps based on the circumstances.
14. Incorrect Product
If you receive a product different from the one shown in your order, please contact us before using it or unnecessarily opening its packaging.
Please provide:
- the order number;
- the product ordered;
- the product received;
- the MPN or SKU;
- photos where relevant.
We will review the situation and provide you with the appropriate instructions.
15. Product Unavailable After Order
If an availability issue is discovered after an order has been placed, Maple Office Supply will contact the customer where necessary.
Depending on the situation, available options may include:
- waiting for restocking;
- modifying the order with the customer’s agreement;
- removing an item;
- cancelling the affected portion of the order;
- issuing a refund where applicable.
No product substitution will be made without the customer’s agreement where the substitution materially changes what was ordered.
16. Cancellation or Modification Before Shipment
If you wish to modify or cancel an order, please contact us as soon as possible.
We will make reasonable efforts to assist if the order has not yet been processed or shipped.
Once the order has been handed over to the carrier or has entered the processing and shipping process, certain changes may no longer be possible.
Any rights provided by law remain applicable.
17. Shipping-Related Returns
Product returns, including where a product is incorrect, damaged, or non-conforming, are also subject to our Refund and Return Policy.
We recommend that you do not return a product before contacting Maple Office Supply and receiving the appropriate return instructions.
